Electronic device saves Massapequa woman during attack
? A Massapequa woman is recovering from a beating by her ex-boyfriend thanks to a device that caused police to come to her rescue.
Police are looking for 24-year-old Christopher Lee. They say he attacked his ex-girlfriend outside her home Saturday. Officials say Lee punched and kicked the victim, forced her inside and threw her down a flight of stairs. Officers say that?s when the victim pushed the button on her Caper Alarm, causing them to come to her home. Police gave the victim the little electronic device earlier this month after Lee damaged her home. Officials say he ran away when he saw police coming.
Anyone with information about Lee?s whereabouts is asked to call Nassau Crimestoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
