Police, family search for missing Bay Park man

Police and family members are searching for a 50-year-old Bay Park man who has been missing since January 28.

Police say Thomas Fasciglione was last seen leaving the Pier 101 bar in East Rockaway just after midnight. Authorities say he planned on walking five blocks back to his house, but say he never arrived at his destination. Family members say Fasciglione was a hard worker and had a loving family, and it would be out of his character to disappear.

Police say they do not suspect foul play and think Fasciglione may have fallen into a nearby canal. Fasciglione is described as 5 foot 9 inches tall, with brown hair, hazel eyes and in good physical condition.
