The family of figure skater Emily Hughes is preparing their return to Great Neck following the 17-year-old's seventh-place finish in Olympics in Turin.
John Hughes, Emily's father, says the family couldn't be prouder of Emily's performance. He says she makes the most of opportunities and takes everything in stride. He says she has proved herself to be a champion, and that the family was more nervous than she seemed to be.
