A Bay Shore man convicted of double murder was sentenced to life in prison without parole Wednesday.

Christopher Reynart was convicted last month of breaking into his former home and stabbing to death his estranged wife and her mother on Easter Sunday in 2004. Prosecutors described Reynart as "evil epitomized" as he stood before the families of his victims.

Reynart spoke before the court and apologized for his actions. Family members of the victims say Reynart is getting what he deserves.
