Dognapped Chihuahua back at pet shop in West Islip

A 9-week-old Chihuahua puppy is back at the pet shop after being dognapped Saturday. The dognapping was caught on BTJ?s Jungle Pet Shop?s video surveillance. Police say they got a major break Sunday morning when they got an anonymous 911 call. Cops say the caller told them to go to Pine Acres Little League Park in Deer Park. Officers say they found the puppy wrapped in a blanket in a basket. Police took the dog to an animal hospital to get it checked out and then the owner of the pet store brought the puppy back to the shop. Police are investigating and say they hope to collar the puppy-snatcher.
