A Massapequa man is accused of pulling a shotgun on two people during a road rage incident.
Police say 26-year-old Michael Caruso was stopped at the intersection of Main Street and South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue Sunday night when two cars passed him at a high rate of speed. Authorities say Caruso became enraged and followed one of the cars, eventually pulling a shotgun on the driver and a passenger on Maple Avenue. The victims, ages 23 and 17, say Caruso criticized them and claimed to be a cop before fleeing.
Caruso is being charged with criminal impersonation, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
