Mom faces more charges in online sex ad case
A Hauppauge mother accused of using Craigslist to get revenge against her daughter?s classmate was slapped with additional charges Thursday.
Margery Tannenbaum was charged with aggravated harassment and now faces a charge of child endangerment after police say she posted an online ad using the contact information of a 9-year-old girl in May.
Prosecutors say more than 20 men answered the ad and contacted the girl?s house. Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says Tannenbaum?s daughter was harassed by the 9-year-old girl, but a friend of the victim's family says the two little girls are friends.
