Hundreds respond to King's video via Internet
Hundreds of people responded to Congressman Peter King's criticisms of Michael Jackson Monday by posting comments on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
King (R-Seaford) posted a YouTube video Sunday slamming Jackson and the media for devoting what King believes is too much time to "a canonization and glorification" of Jackson. Many Jackson fans say King was just trying to get attention while they celebrate Jackson's accomplishments.
King supporters say they are glad the congressman criticized the coverage of Jackson's death. A Jackson family spokesman says the family will not dignify King's video with a comment.
