(AP) - A Long Island math teacher is denyingcharges that he had sex with a 15-year-old girl in an elementaryschool parking lot.
Daniel Rothbard was freed on $5,000 bail after pleading notguilty Wednesday at his arraignment. He is charged withthird-degree rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and childendangerment.
Defense attorney Todd Greenberg declined to comment.
Suffolk County police say the 28-year-old Valley Stream teachermet the 15-year-old girl on MySpace. He was arrested at a school inWest Islip, about 22 miles away.
A Valley Stream schools spokeswoman said Rothbard was employedthere for four years.
