Baldwin woman allegedly stabs mom, 2 cops

A Baldwin woman is accused of stabbing her mother with scissors during a fight Wednesday and then attacking responding police officers.

Police say 23-year-old Michelle Macri and her mother got into a fight and the young woman barricaded herself in a bedroom. They say the mother forced her way into the bedroom, where Macri stabbed her in the arm.

According to authorities, the mother drove herself to the hospital. When police arrived at the Merrick Avenue home, they say Macri stabbed one officer in the head and slashed the other in the face.

Macri was charged with resisting arrest, possession of a weapon and three counts of assault.
