Merchant raises money for LI couple's burial

A West Babylon businessman is trying to raise money for the family of a young Polish couple that was killed in a crash last week.

Kamila Osko, 26, and her 29-year-old husband Greg Osko, of Lindenhurst, died in a two-car accident in Copiague July 26, just two weeks after exchanging vows in their native Poland.

Ed Bifulco, the owner of a bagel store where Kamila Osko worked, wants to raise $20,000 to send the bodies of the newlyweds to Poland for burial.

A special Mass and fundraiser for the couple will be held Monday night at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Copiague.
