A popular East End restaurant may be forced to shut down.The Country Corner Cafe in Southold is being told it must close due to a pending expansion of an IGA supermarket. The supermarket owns the space and says it needs the location to continue operating.The owner of the restaurant says she gets more than a thousand names a week on a petition to keep the cafe open. The Country Corner Cafe has been open for more than 50 years.
