Long Island is feelin' hot hot hot

Long Island was hit with another scorcher Monday, an uncommon occurrence so far this summer.
Temperatures hit the 90s for the second time in the season with haze and humidity to match.
Those who work outside laying 300-degree asphalt on the LIE say drinking water and splashing some on the face is key to surviving the heat.
Bill Cullen, of Malverne, didn?t seem to mind the temperature as he hit the green at Eisenhower Park.
?Think about June everybody and don't complain when it?s 95 degrees,? Cullen says. ?We had all that rain. Give me this kind of weather over the rain any day. That?s the way I feel.?
