Taconic survivor told of mom's, sister's deaths
(AP) - The Long Island boy who survived the car crashthat killed his mother, sister and three cousins has been told oftheir deaths.
Private investigator Thomas Ruskin also says the boy's survivingrelatives and his dead cousins' parents are in contact with eachother almost daily despite reports they weren't speaking.
The boy's mother, Diane Schuler, was driving the wrong way on aNew York highway when she collided head-on with an SUV. Three menin that vehicle died.
Bryan Schuler, who's 5, is recovering from head injuries at aQueens hospital.
He's the lone survivor of the July 26 crash.
Police say Schuler was drunk and high on marijuana. Her widowerdisputes that.
