A Bethpage man is facing a slew of charges after police say they discovered marijuana plants growing in his home while they were looking for something else.
Police say they first encountered 37-year-old Christopher Grossman when they responded to a report of suspicious activity in a Seaford parking lot Tuesday night. They say the littered condition of his car and the fact that he had a young child with him led them to check out his home.
Once inside Grossman?s home, police say they found 18 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia as well as a lighting and ventilation system. They also say the condition of the house was deplorable.
