Police: Mom ditched kids at public pool

? Police arrested a Hicksville mom they say left her kids at a public pool for nine hours Thursday.

Investigators say Emilia Lanzetta, 44, dropped her four children off at the Bethpage Community Park pool around 10 a.m. When she hadn?t returned to get the kids by 7 p.m., pool workers called police.

According to police, Lanzetta left the children at the pool to do errands. All of the kids were under 11. Pool employees say they?ve seen the children unattended several times this summer.

Lanzetta is charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Her kids are in their father's custody.
