Thousands file past Sen. Kennedy's casket

(AP) - The last surviving Kennedy sibling says it's a"hard time" for her.

Jean Kennedy Smith is among the Kennedy family members who'vegreeted visitors to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library inBoston, where thousands have viewed the closed casket of TedKennedy.

Her son, William Kennedy Smith, says the crowds are "awonderful tribute to Teddy and the lives that he touched."

Later today, there will be a private memorial for family andinvited friends.

A funeral Mass is scheduled at a Boston church Saturday,followed by burial later in the day at Arlington National Cemeteryoutside Washington.
