Cops hope tattoo photo will ID shooting victim

Nassau police released a photo of a shooting victim?s tattoo Friday in hopes of identifying him.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot and killed inside a recording studio in Freeport on Thursday, according to authorities. Police say someone came up to him and shot him. The victim then stumbled into the hallway and collapsed.

The tattoo on the man?s right wrist reads ?Death before dishonor.? Police say because of the extent of his injuries, they can not even identify the victim?s race.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
