Police: 3 guards stabbed at Farmingville club

Suffolk police say three security guards were stabbed outside a Farmingville nightclub early Sunday.

Police say the attack happened at about 2:30 a.m. at the Las Tejas Bar on Portion Road. Two of the guards, Jason Molloy, of Centereach, and Daniel Romero, of Shirley, were treated at area hospital for injuries not considered life threatening.

A third guard John Elliott, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was taken the Stony Brook University Hospital with a knife wound just above the heart. A man who identified himself as Elliott's brother told News 12 that his brother is expected to make a full recovery.
