Poll: N.Y. consumer confidence shows growth

A new poll shows consumer confidence in New York at its highest level in 20 months.

The poll was conducted by Siena College. Long Island businesses are noticing the change too.

"Things are picking up," says Don Blumberg, who manages a Men's Big and Tall in Plainview. "A big difference in business over the last two or three months."

The poll also shows only 49 percent are worried about gas prices. That percentage is down nearly 30 points from a year ago.
