Driver crashes into second floor of house

Police say a drunk driver crashed into the second floor of an East Moriches house Saturday morning after he drove into a burm, sending his car through the air.
Adam Clark, 20, of East Moriches allegedly was drunk and speeding when he drove through a stop sign and hit a burm around 12:30 a.m. He is said to have been airborne for more than 100 feet.
Pieces of the SUV were left scattered throughout the house and the foundation?s sheetrock and wooden beams were shattered.
Clark is charged with DWI, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
