Southampton town supervisor arrested

? Police in Westhampton Beach say Southampton Town Supervisor Linda Kabot was arrested on drunk driving charges early Monday morning.
Kabot was pulled over in Westhampton Beach just after midnight. The incident report says she was having trouble staying in her lane and crossed over the double yellow line.
Police say "her eyes we red and glassy and her breath smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage."
Kabot was elected supervisor in 2007 and is the first female Republican to hold the post. She is running for re-election in November. Southampton residents are mixed on whether the arrest will affect their vote.
Kabot pleaded not guilty and was released.
