Police say they found a decades-old child pornography stash in the backyard of a Rocky Point school groundskeeper.

Steven Deturris, 46, has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. Authorities believe Deturris took the photographs himself and stored them in a plastic container buried in his yard. Some of the pictures allegedly date back to the 1980s.

Deturris has been suspended from his job. School officials maintain he did not have contact with any children through his position. He pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday. Bail has been set at $5,000.
