Many riders of the Long Island Rail Road seem to be taking the latest terror threat in stride.
On Saturday, three men were arrested in connection with an FBI investigation into possible terrorist attacks. Federal law enforcement is now advising local police departments that mass transit systems could be among intended targets for terrorism.
Regular riders say terrorist threats always remain in the back of their minds, but that they?re not about to change their travel methods. Some, however, say they had second thoughts about getting on the train.
The NYPD won?t detail their additional security measures, only saying they've added officers at key locations.
