Members of the Westboro Baptist Church claim murdered Yale student Anne Le?s killer was sent by God to punish her for planning to marry a Jew. They held a protest outside Temple Beth El in Huntington Thursday night. The rally came two days after a memorial service for Le at the temple.

The group moved on to Great Neck, where it rallied outside of several synagogues as well as Great Neck North High School and North Shore Hebrew Academy.

Police maintained a presence at all of the protests and there were no confrontations between members of the group and residents.
