Cops: Medford bank robber dropped the loot
Police say a bank robber who held up the TD Bank on Route 112 Tuesday dropped the loot, causing the money to blow all over the street.
Authorities say a woman in her early 20s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap handed the teller a note that said she would detonate a bomb unless given money. The teller handed over a stack of bills that included a dye pack, police say. Once outside the bank, the dye pack exploded on the alleged robber and the money.
Police have not released information about the suspect, whether or not she had an accomplice, or how much money she took.
