TD Bank computer glitch irks LI customers

A computer glitch has many TD Bank customers across Long Island doing double-takes when they check their balances.

The bank says transactions are not being posted, causing customers to see incorrect balances on their accounts. They say the problem started when the bank began merging accounts with Commerce Bank earlier this week.

TD Bank officials say they are working very hard to restore customers? balances. However, they say there is no guarantee something like this won't happen again. A spokesperson tells News 12 Long Island all balances will be restored and any fees customers incur will be reimbursed.

TD bank apologized for the glitch on Wednesday.
