(AP) - One of seven teenagers accused in thefatal attack on a Hispanic immigrant in Patchogue has pleadedguilty to gang assault and hate crime charges.
The agreement requires Nicholas Hausch to testify against thesix other defendants.
He entered the plea in Suffolk County Court in Riverhead onThursday.
The teens are accused of the Nov. 8, 2008, killing of Ecuadoreanimmigrant Marcelo Lucero. The37-year-old was fatally stabbed in the chest.
The other teens had previously pleaded not guilty to variouscharges in connection to the attack.
