Recount done but Nassau exec. race not over

The 2009 race for Nassau County executive is still undecided even after the recount of all the ballots concluded Friday.

Republican Ed Mangano leads incumbent Democrat Tom Suozzi by 459 votes, lawyers told a judge Friday.

More than 8,000 affidavit and absentee ballots are set to be counted beginning Monday and could take weeks.

Justice Edward McCarty says he's planning to go to the Board of Elections to get an idea of how that counting process will work.
