Cops hope computer image is key to cold case
Investigators are hoping new computer technology will turn one of their coldest cases hot.
A man?s remains were found buried in a shallow grave along the Northern State Parkway in Plainview five years ago, but police believe they had been there for about 27 years.
Forensic scientists spent the past several months constructing an image of the victim?s face on a computer. Police are hoping someone will recognize the man?s face and come forward with a lead.
Police believe the victim was a 5?2? white or Hispanic male between 35 and 45.
