Investigator: Video shows Schuler was OK
The private investigator hired by Diane Schuler?s husband says newly released video of the West Babylon mom shows she was fine hours before crashing her minivan.
Surveillance video obtained by News 12 shows Schuler walking into a gas station in Liberty, and quickly walking back out to re-enter her car. Hours later, Schuler drove the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway and crashed killing herself and seven others.
The Schuler family?s private investigator Thomas Ruskin tells News 12 Diane was looking for pain medication in the gas station. He also says he?s requested more tests on tissue samples from Diane?s autopsy to make sure there were no mix-ups.
Ruskin also says he?s learned from Schuler's co-workers that she was suffering from a sharp tooth pain in her head in the week leading up to the crash.
