Fire breaks out in Westbury Wal-Mart

Officials say a small fire broke out among Christmas trees in the garden center of a Wal-Mart in Westbury Saturday.

Nassau County police say the blaze was reported at around 2:30 p.m. after a Wal-Mart employee smelled smoke.

The store was immediately evacuated. No injuries have been reported.

The Wal-Mart store reopened Saturday evening once its sprinkler and alarm systems were reset.
