Oddone deliberations to continue into 5th day

Jurors deciding the case of a Farmingville man accused of killing a Suffolk corrections officer finished a fourth day of deliberations with no verdict Monday.

The jury asked the judge to read back the charges against Anthony Oddone for the fourth time since beginning deliberations.

The prosecution says Oddone intended to kill Andrew Reister, who was working as a bouncer at a Southampton club in 2008 when the two got into a dispute. Oddone?s attorney says his client fatally choked Reister in self defense.

Reister?s widow says she takes the jurors? requests as a positive sign they?re being thorough.
