Parents say daughter's killer sent texts

The killer of a Medford woman whose body was found in Connecticut last week sent text messages from her phone to throw off an investigation, the victim?s parents say.

Rebecca Koster?s body was found stabbed and burned near Foxwoods Casino last Friday. Police didn?t identify her body until five days later, leading her family to believe she was missing during that period.

Koster?s mother Barbara Ross says she received text messages from her daughter?s phone saying her boyfriend tied her up and was holding her somewhere. According to police, a search of Koster?s boyfriend?s home turned up empty.

Koster's funeral is scheduled for Wednesday in Mount Sinai.
