Police find weapons cache in Babylon home

A Babylon man is facing charges after police found 45 knives, guns and ammunition in his home Friday.

Police say they were acting on a tip when they went to investigate with a search warrant. Officers arrested Anthony Piromolli, who lives in the home with his parents, on four illegal weapons charges.

Authorities say they believe the unemployed 27-year-old was probably going to sell the weapons.

Aside from the 33 switchblades, eight handguns, three rifles, shotgun and ammunition, police also seized Piromolli?s computer. If found guilty, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
