Man stabbed outside East Islip bowling alley

Police say two people were hospitalized following a brawl outside an East Islip bowling alley Monday night.

According to police, the fight in the East Islip Lanes parking lot involved around 30 people. They say participants wielded bats, pipes and machetes. One man was stabbed and another was hit in the head.

The alley?s manager says the brawl had nothing to do with East Islip Lanes. Nevertheless, neighbors complain the alley?s parking lot is a magnet for shady behavior.

Police say the fight may have been over a girl and it seems the men came prepared to fight. They recovered 30 weapons but made no arrests.
