Health Dept: Nassau got recalled H1N1 vaccines

Nassau health officials say the county has received some of the H1N1 vaccinations that were recalled.

A spokesperson for the Department of Health says the county received 2,660 doses, 2,230 of which were distributed.

The spokesperson also says the department knows exactly where the recalled doses went and that health officials are reaching out to those providers.

About 800,000 of the H1N1 vaccine doses were recalled nationwide due to concerns about their potency.
