Suozzi exits satisfied he did a good job

Wednesday was Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi?s last day in office and News 12 Long Island was there when he packed up his office.

Earlier this month Suozzi conceded to Ed Mangano after a close race and recount. He lost by nearly 400 votes and admits he took the race for granted.

However, he says he?s leaving on a positive note. ?I feel a great sense of satisfaction that we did a good job,? Suozzi says.

As for the future, Suozzi says he can?t imagine running for local office again but wouldn?t rule out a statewide run.
