9/11 victim's mom furious over intel fumble

? The Long Island mother of a Sept. 11 victim says she is outraged that the government missed warning signals ahead of the alleged Christmas Day airline plot.

Rosemary Cain, whose son George was a firefighter who died at the World Trade Center, is wondering if the U.S. has learned any lessons from the Sept. 11 attacks.

?I?m furious, I?m absolutely furious,? Cain says. ?How many more innocent people have to die??

Members of the 9/11 Commission recommended better communication between the U.S. intelligence agencies in the wake of Sept. 11. However, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab allegedly tried to carry out his plan despite warnings from his father and his placement on a government watch list.
