AAA: 36M Americans to travel over the Memorial Day weekend
Expect the busiest roads for a Memorial Day weekend since the recession!
AAA predicts over 36 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more this weekend.
Meanwhile, the average price for a gallon of regular gas on Long Island is up to $3.93. The price is up 10 cents from last year.
The LIRR is offering extra service on the Babylon, Port Jefferson and Port Washington lines today.
In the air, major airlines only have a handful of delays and cancellations for the start of the holiday weekend due to last night's severe weather.
