The LIRR annual "Cannonball Express" is back for the holiday weekend.
The special spring and summer service is billed as the fastest ride to the East End.
The trip from Penn Station to the Hamptons takes about 95 minutes.
The cannonball leaves Manhattan a little after 4 p.m. today.
The LIRR is also adding extra holiday service today on the Babylon, Port Jeff, and Port Washington branches.
