Cops: 2 teens arrested for attempted robbery

Police say two teens have been arrested for trying to rob a woman outside a Target store in Hicksville.Authorities say the incident occurred at around 11:55 p.m. Saturday in the store's parking lot. Cops say 16-year-old Cory Bies, of Plainview, and 17-year-old Ivan Bonilla, of Oyster Bay, grabbed the 28-year-old woman by her arm and demanded that she empty her pockets.Police say the woman was able to escape and the suspects fled, but were later apprehended.The teens are charged with second-degree attempted robbery and are scheduled to be arraigned Sunday.
