LI roads clear after light snow

An early morning storm left just enough snow on the ground to slow drivers across the Island during the Friday morning commute.

Snowplows and salt trucks were out early Friday to clear most of the snow from larger roads, like Sunrise Highway and the LIE, before drivers left for work.

Despite the low snow accumulation, drivers are still urged to use caution on the slippery roads.
