Jets depart for 1st postseason game in 3 years

The Jets headed west Friday for their playoff matchup with the Bengals, a surprising post script to a roller coaster season.

The game is the Jets' first postseasonappearance in three years. Saying Long Island fans are pumped would be an understatement.

"I bleed Jet green," says Gerard Giannattasio, of Melville. "I think we could go all the way, I really do."

The Jets dominated the Bengals last Sunday, winning 37-0 to earn a playoff berth. Kickoff is Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
