Police look for clues in N. Amityville shooting

Authorities are piecing together clues at the apartment complex where a 44-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night.

Police say James Terry's body was found at the Andpress Plaza complex at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday. They add that two other men were also shot, but survived.

"My brother was a good Christian man,? Jannette Smith, Terry's sister, told News 12 Long Island. ?If he was here he was here to help somebody."

A gray Honda minivan was taken from the scene as evidence after police inspected the apartment complex for hours Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
