Miracle on Hudson survivor looks back

A Miracle on the Hudson survivor from Mattituck is recounting his experience as the event's one-year anniversary approaches.

Bill Zuhoski was one of 155 on board Flight 1549 when the plane landed safely on the Hudson River after a bird collision crippled the aircraft. Zuhoski's recollection of the event is almost as unbelievable as the whole incident itself.

"A passenger to my left grabbed my arm and said, 'it's been nice to know you, we are going to die,'" says Zuhoski.

The Mattituck resident will take a ferry ride Friday to the spot the plane crashed with the famed Capt. Chesley Sullenberger and other survivors.
