Mother accused of pet torture due in court

A Selden woman accused of burying dead animals in her yard is expected to face additional charges Thursday.An indictment is set to be unsealed against 43-year-old Sharon McDonough, who was first arrested in November.Authorities say they found dozens of animals buried outside her home. Her son claims he and his six siblings were forced to participate in the alleged abuse.McDonough is expected to be charged with child endangerment, animal cruelty, and animal torture.
