4 hurt in crash involving police car

(AP) - Four people were hurt when in acollision between a police car and a second vehicle on Long Island. The crash happened Saturday night in Massapequa.

Nassau County police say the police car was heading north onBroadway with lights flashing when it was involved in a collisionwith a Dodge Charger that was traveling westbound.

All four occupants of the two cars were taken to Nassau CountyMedical Center.

The driver of the police vehicle was admitted in stablecondition with a leg injury, and the second officer was treated forabrasions and pain to his forehead. Both occupants of the Dodgewere treated for head injuries.

There were no arrests.
