Colts rally past Jets, reach Super Bowl
(AP) - Peyton Manning threw two second-halftouchdown passes and rallied the Indianapolis Colts from an11-point, first-half deficit for a 30-17 victory Sunday over theNew York Jets in the AFC championship game.
The Colts (15-2) are now headed back to Miami for the secondtime in four years and to their fourth Super Bowl in franchisehistory.
Manning finished 26 of 39 for 377 yards with three TDs. Thefour-time MVP also became the first player in league history withseven 300-yard postseason games. That broke a tie with Kurt Warnerand Joe Montana.
The Jets' magical run ended with their first road loss in sixgames.
New York (11-8) built a 17-6 lead and took advantage of trickplays. But rookie Mark Sanchez and the Jets were shut out in thesecond half.
The Colts will face the New Orleans Saints Feb. 7 in South Florida.
