3 LI doctors return from mission in Haiti
Three Long Island doctors have returned home from a weeklong mission helping quake victims in Haiti.
George Angus, Micheline Dole and Anthony Boutin, who work at Nassau University Medical Center, were just three of the many American doctors who flocked to Port-au-Prince after the devastating earthquake to aid survivors.
The medical professionals there worked 12-hours shifts, but the Long Islanders say their enthusiasm to help people kept them from feeling tired.
Despite the heartbreaking stories they returned home with, the doctors say the people they helped made them feel appreciated, needed and valued.
